Life on Sydney’s Northern Beaches

Are you considering a move to Sydney’s Northern Beaches? John Bull is your locally preferred removalists as we have been moving families and individuals for more than 60years.

Perhaps you already live here and want to know more about the area!

Sydney’s Northern Beaches or Insular Peninsular is one of Sydney’s most beautiful places and highly desired as the place to live. Many locals have lived here their whole lives and have been lucky enough to stay and buy within the area. Nicknamed the Insular Peninsular as you don't have to go anywhere else, we are lucky to have everything in the one place without ever leaving.

This peninsular runs from Manly through to Palm Beach and encompasses a lot of beaches and suburbs along the way. Anyone who watches Home and Away may realise that “Summer Bay” is actually the beautiful Palm Beach.

Food and Drink

There is a multitude of restaurants, bars, cafes and more up and down the peninsula to enjoy, you will never be bored for choice.

Markets

Held at Manly every weekend, Warriewood’s fresh produce each Friday, Palm Beach and Narrabeen each month and more.

Activity to Explore

With so many beaches to choose from you can swim in the ocean pools or surf the breaks. Walk the sandy shores or take the coastal walks. A snorkel at Manly’s Shelley Beach or an explore through the beach rock pools will keep you busy.

Bushwalking tracks abound and there is the loop of Narrabeen Lakes or the walk up to Barrenjoey Lighthouse. For the golfers we have many top class golf courses to choose from too.

Shopping

We have Westfield Warringah Mall, Stocklands at Balgowlah, Warriewood Square to name a few of our large shopping centres. You cannot miss all the small shopping pleasure of Manly, Freshwater, Avalon and Mona Vale for community, individually owned shops.

This blog has only touched the surface of what it is like to live life on Sydney’s Northern Beaches. So if you are considering moving here, let the team at John Bull ensure that your move is a peaceful one.
